Description
Collimated Gaussian Beam 405nm Solid State Laser Source with TEC cooled Analog TTL modulation. It can be fiber coupled.
Solid State 405nm Laser Features:
TEM00 Gaussian: A TEM00 beam has an intensity profile that is very nearly Gaussian (>95%) and does not change as it propagates (i.e. from when it emerges from the laser to the far field).
TEC cooled long life operation: TEC is also known as solid-state cooling, because there is no liquid refrigerant running through the machine. Instead, solid metal is used to transfer thermal energy.

Collimated beams are laser beams with weak divergence within some region of interest. This implies that they have a relatively large beam radius.
Achieving a truly collimated beam of divergence 0 is not possible, but an approximately collimated beam by either minimizing the divergence or maximizing the distance between the point of observation and the nearest beam waist is possible.
