It is combine two beams into one .

It is widely used in co2 laser industry .it make co2 laser and red light can be visible . General is 10.6um infrared laser and 500-700nm red light into a bunch.  

The light beam of the other wavelengths can also be integrated

The principle of combined lens：

co2 laser is invisible line . But red line is visible

Beam combiner make co2 laser pass through ,  It does not affect the CO2 optical .and it make the red line reflecting , then the beam combiner combine the visible red line with invisible co2 laser line .then make the laser beam visible 

Used beam combiner support to hold the beam combiner and red pointer together ,
