Description
Acousto-Optic Q-Switches 1030nm Fused Silica
The acousto-optic Q-switch (AOQS) is a special modulator that designed for generation of high intensity pulsed light. It can diffract a portion of the laser out from the cavity (Raman Nath or Bragg regime) when it applied the RF signal. it increases the cavity losses and prevents oscillation. When the RF signal is switched off, the cavity losses decrease rapidly and it will produce the evolves of intense laser pulse.
We offers a variety of A-O Q-switches working at the wavelength ranged from 355nm to 2000nm. These Q-Switches are characterized with ultra-low loss (transmission up to 99.6%), high switching speeds, excellent pulse-to-pulse stability and high power resistant.
In order to maintain high diffraction efficiency, higher RF powers may be necessary and therefore requires adequate conduction or water cooling.
