Q Switch Laser

Q-switched Laser Technology is innovative technology for tattoo removal, pigmented lesion removal, and other popular aesthetic procedures.

Q-switching, sometimes known as giant pulse formation or Q-spoiling, is a technique by which a laser can be made to produce a pulsed output beam. The technique allows the production of light pulses with extremely high (gigawatt) peak power, much higher than would be produced by the same laser if it were operating in a continuous wave (constant output) mode. Compared to modelocking, another technique for pulse generation with lasers, Q-switching leads to much lower pulse repetition rates, much higher pulse energies, and much longer pulse durations. The two techniques are sometimes applied together.

The q switch laser is one type of the ways that how the laser is produced , but now most of the q switch lasers means the laser system used for skin treatment, lady beauty, hair removal and so on.

How much does Q-Switch laser cost?

The cost of the Q-Switched laser treatment ranges between $300 and may go as high as $1000 per treatment session. The cost varies depending on many factors such as the issue being addressed, the number of treatment sessions and the geographic region of the provider.

The applications below are the most common for q switch laser : Tattoo Removal. Toenail Fungus (onychomycosis treatment) Pigmented Lesions (age spots, sun spots, birthmarks, Nevus of Ota, Nevus of Ito, Mongolian spots, freckles, moles, cafe-au-lait, etc.)

rp-photonics

Q switching is a technique for obtaining energetic short (but not ultrashort) light pulses from a laser by modulating the intracavity losses and thus the Q factor of the laser resonator. The technique is mainly applied for the generation of nanosecond pulses of high energy and peak power with solid-state bulk lasers.
